Jeff Foster is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Atlanta. With more than 17 years of public accounting and transaction related experience, he assists clients with acquisition and divestiture services.

Mr. Foster has worked with private equity and corporate clients in coordinating and providing a broad range of transaction advisory services including financial, tax, human resources and information technology due diligence. He specializes in the execution of buy-side and sell-side due diligence and advising clients throughout the lifecycle of a transaction. Mr. Foster has assisted numerous clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, transaction processing, financial services, staffing and professional employment organizations, construction and franchising.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Foster was a Senior Manager with the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP in Atlanta. He led financial due diligence projects for corporate and private equity clients. Previously, with a national firm focusing on assurance and advisory services, he worked closely with clients advising on accounting issues and implementation, financial and regulatory requirements, and cash management strategies and projections.

Mr. Foster earned a bachelor's degree in business administration (concentration in accounting) and a master’s degree in accountancy from Auburn University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia and Alabama State Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
