Daisaku Nonaka is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Tokyo. He serves as the Japan practice leader.
With approximately 20 years of transaction-related experience, Mr. Nonaka specializes in financial/accounting due diligence and deal advisory projects for both private equity and strategic buyers. He brings extensive experience in financial due diligence, financial modeling support, accounting advice, and share purchase agreement/transitional service agreement advice.
Mr. Nonaka has performed financial/accounting due diligence and deal advisory projects across numerous industries, including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, consumer products, and technology. He has also led numerous international transactions.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nonaka was a Partner and the head of the private equity unit of Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, where he assisted in expanding the practice. He began his career with the financial audit division of KPMG in New York.
Mr. Nonaka is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York.
