Ben Hope is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Los Angeles

Mr. Hope brings more than 20 years of deep media and entertainment industry experience, including broadcast and cable, television and film production, global content syndication and distribution, and theme parks sectors.  

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hope held executive leadership positions across multiple functions at NBCU and the Fox Networks Group, including finance, sales, operations and information technology. Leveraging his prior experience as a CFO, Regional Sales Lead and Head of Network Operations, he delivered forward-thinking global technology solutions for his business partners.  

As a technology leader for NBCU and Fox, Mr. Hope developed and executed global technology strategies to transform business processes, automate workflows, manage solution portfolios and address increasingly dynamic changes in the media and entertainment marketplace. In this role, he led multiple transformation initiatives, including the development of data and analytic platforms, the migration of legacy platforms to the cloud, the establishment of an integrated cross-platform sales ecosystem, the design and development of multiple business systems and the deployment of enhanced information security tools and processes.

Additionally, Mr. Hope has extensive experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including the design and execution of technology integration strategies, application portfolio consolidation, organization redesign and rationalization of redundant business processes.

As a public speaker, Mr. Hope has participated in panel discussions centered around the latest technology trends at CIO conferences. In addition, he has lectured about the changing role of the CIO at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and delivered keynote addresses for technology conferences covering the use of service architecture in the Media & Entertainment content delivery process.  

Mr. Hope earned a bachelor’s degree in public accounting from Pace University and a MBA from Columbia Business School. He earned his CPA in the State of New York and is a certified Master Blackbelt of Quality.
