Chris Alcorn is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement. She brings more than 19 years of industry and consulting experience in supply chain management and performance improvement across a range of industries.

Ms. Alcorn's supply chain specialties include supply planning, inventory management, demand planning, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and strategic sourcing. She has deep expertise in commercialization/NPD processes, contract manufacturing management, and end to end supply chain management. Other performance improvement capabilities include general process improvements and merger integration management.

Ms. Alcorn's notable consulting engagements include identifying an inventory reduction plan of 50 percent while working with a division of a $3 billion private label food manufacturer in the areas of planning, capacity management, and production scheduling; stabilizing operations and implementing process improvement in the areas of billing and payments for a division of a $500 million health plan services provider; and leading a team at a $3 billion packaging company in the design and implementation of demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP, inclusive of the development and implementation of interim tools to facilitate demand, supply, and capacity planning. 

In addition, Ms. Alcorn executed and implemented strategic sourcing initiatives for a $1.4 billion DoD contractor, which resulted in category annual savings of 10-15 percent; developed contract and negotiation strategies for a $1 billion healthcare product distributor to supply one of the world’s largest retailers; evaluated the sales forecasting process and created a transformation roadmap for a $1 billion small appliance CG supplier to top US retailers; led a large IT merger integration work stream for a division of an $11 billion building materials company which resulted in a quick integration; and leveraged spend for a $1.6 billion industrial client to achieve annualized saving ranges of 10-44 percent in several spend categories and implanting savings tracking mechanisms as well as staff education materials.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Alcorn began her career with Campbell Soup Company and held various supply chain management roles. In her last role as a Supply Planning Manager, she had overall supply responsibility for U.S. retail soup business.

Ms. Alcorn earned an MBA (concentration in marketing) from Drexel University.
