Alvarez & Marsal launches Public Company Advisory team and hires Corporate Finance Senior Director
Based in Manchester, Jamie Peel joins A&M’s Corporate Finance practice to grow its Public Company Advisory capability in the mid-market
London, 1 December 2025 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has bolstered its Corporate Finance practice with the launch of a new Public Company Advisory group and the appointment of Jamie Peel as a Senior Director in Manchester.
The senior hire builds on the sustained growth of A&M’s Corporate Finance practice which now comprises 260 people across key sectors and 20 countries globally.
In his new role, Mr Peel will focus on establishing A&M’s public company advisory capability globally, addressing a gap in the mid-market for independent public company advisory services. Mr Peel is the first member of the new group, with additional senior hires expected in due course.
Mr Peel brings more than 13 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, having advised clients across various sectors on IPOs, Public M&A and Corporate Strategy including Bid and Activist Defence and Capital Raising. He has advised private and public companies on a wide range of transaction types with deal sizes ranging from £5 million to £500 million plus.
He joins from PwC where he was a Director in the M&A team. Prior to this, Mr Peel was an Investment Banking Director at Zeus Capital, where he worked for 12 years.
