Rino Nori is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Transaction Advisory Group in New York. He brings more than 21 years of transaction experience and has provided financial due diligence services to private equity and corporate clients on more than 850 mergers and acquisitions transactions valued from $10 million to $15 billion.

Mr. Nori's experience ranges from transactions involving lower and middle-market acquisition targets to multi-billion-dollar, complex cross-border projects. His primary areas of concentration include preparation of analyses, which identify key deal issues/risk areas, quantification of items directly impacting transaction valuation (e.g., understanding normalized EBITDA, working capital requirements and debt items) and analysis of key performance indicators. Furthermore, he has advised on the drafting of sale and purchase agreements, including purchase price mechanisms, financial statement representations and transaction services arrangements.

Additionally, Mr. Nori co-leads A&M’s Restaurant Transactions practice and previously led A&M’s Sell-Side Due Diligence practice. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, chemicals, distribution, industrial services, business services, consumer products, restaurant, retail, entertainment, publishing and information services.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nori served with PwC's transaction services in New York, where he advised premier clients, including several mega-private equity funds. At PwC, he spent two years in London advising U.K. and European-based private equity and strategic clients; performing financial due diligence that tested and challenged management budgets and forecasts; drafting traditional European long-form reports; and leading complex vendor due diligence assignments.

Mr. Nori earned a bachelor's degree (summa cum laude) from The University of Connecticut and an MBA (with distinction) from The Manchester Business School of Manchester. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
