Jan Crosby joins A&M’s Corporate Finance practice in London to expand its Real Estate and Hospitality capability across Europe.

London, 23 April 2024 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) continues to scale its Corporate Finance practice in the UK and EMEA with the appointment of Jan Crosby as a Managing Director in London. At A&M, he will build out the practice’s Real Estate and Hospitality M&A capability across Europe alongside Samantha Ward.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr Crosby was Head of Corporate Finance at Savills Capital Advisors, where he advised on corporate M&A and capital raising across operating real estate in the Living, Alternatives and Hospitality sectors. Before that, he led KPMG’s Real Estate M&A team.

He specialises in advising clients on a range of transactions including buy-side, sell-side, capital raising, recapitalisations and restructuring and has extensive experience across housebuilding, developers, social housing, strategic land, senior living, care homes, hospitality and leisure, holiday parks, pubs, multi and single family build to rent, self-storage, marinas, flex office, student accommodation, operating infrastructure, REITs, construction and infrastructure services and building materials.

Mr Crosby will further strengthen A&M’s Real Estate and Hospitality capabilities, joining Managing Director Samantha Ward, who has broad experience across both hospitality and wider operating real estate transactions. This hire underscores A&M’s focus on becoming a European market leader with both regional and sector coverage.
