Campbell Jaski is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Melbourne. He specializes in expert witness services. His key areas of focus include the quantification of loss and damage and the valuation of businesses, shares, financial instruments, mineral assets, and major projects for a wide range of tax, shareholder, joint venture, royalty, native title, and commodity disputes. 

With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Jaski is called upon by clients to provide strategic, operational, commercial, and financial guidance and independent expert opinion. He has been engaged in over 400 litigation and arbitration matters in a range of jurisdictions including Administrative Tribunals, Federal Court of Australia, and Supreme Courts in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. Mr. Jaski is a qualified International Arbitrator and has also been engaged as an expert in international arbitrations governed by ACICA, HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, SCMA, and SIAC.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Jaski spent seven years as a Partner at PwC in Melbourne. Previously, he served as a consultant to local and international law firms and mining companies specializing in bulk commodities (thermal coal, coking coal, and iron ore), precious metals, base metals, critical minerals, and industrial minerals projects ranging from early-stage exploration through construction, production, and care and maintenance.

Mr. Jaski began his career in industry, spending 12 years with Rio Tinto, where he gained significant experience in exploration, project feasibility studies, mining operations (open pit and underground), native title negotiations, processing facilities, port and rail operations, and product sales and marketing. He has experience working in Australia, Indonesia, North and South America, and Southern Africa.

Mr. Jaski earned a bachelor’s degree in geology (honors) from La Trobe University, Melbourne, an MBA from Melbourne Business School and New York University Stern School of Business, and a diploma in international commercial arbitration from the University of New South Wales. He is a Chartered Professional in Geology and Management with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
