Andrea Gonzalez

Ms. Gonzalez develops and implements strategies to maximize creditor recoveries on behalf of Unsecured Creditors’ Committees. She is an expert in analyzing business plans and cash flow forecasts, reviewing financial statements including intercompany transactions, evaluating cash management systems, analyzing restructuring agreements, and identifying and pursuing causes of actions including fraudulent conveyances and substantive consolidation.
With over 15 years of experience, Ms. Gonzalez has provided financial advisory services to healthy and distressed companies, boards, and other stakeholders. She has expertise in resolving complex business, accounting, and financial matters by pursuing litigation and conducting investigations.
Select clients Ms. Gonzalez has served include Mallinckrodt plc, Alto Maipo, Avianca, CEC Entertainment, LSC Communications, Windstream Holdings, Inc. and Avaya, Inc.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Gonzalez was a Senior Manager with Cendrowski Corporate Advisors (CCA). Prior to that, she served as a forensic accountant in the FBI’s Chicago Division where she was responsible for managing complex financial fraud investigations. Previously, Ms. Gonzalez was a Director with AlixPartners in their Financial Advisory Services practice.
Ms. Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Illinois. Ms. Gonzalez is the treasurer of Chicago chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and serves on the steering committee of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
