Jefferson Wang

Mr. Wang specializes in the industrial sector, including energy, oil and gas, chemicals, steel and materials, mining, infrastructure, and manufacturing. He has served more than 70 leading global and Chinese companies, providing a range of consulting services. These services include business strategy, growth strategy, strategic transformation, performance improvement, supply chain transformation and digitalization, globalization strategy, commercial and operational due diligence, and post-merger integration.
Additionally, Mr. Wang is an expert in economic development for the public sector, with a focus on global trade and cooperation, national strategy, and regional development planning. He advised the global strategic partnership strategy for the Saudi government. In 2022, he led a global research project for the World Economic Forum. He directed the 2035 strategic planning for a Chinese city with a population of 13 million and the global ocean city strategic planning for a Chinese city with a population of 10 million. Mr. Wang served as a core advisory member for the 2016 Hangzhou G20/B20 Forum. He prepared, developed, and delivered the B20 policy paper to G20 leaders. The result has had a profound impact on global economic policies and the framework for international cooperation.
Mr. Wang’s notable engagements include managing corporate strategy, growth strategy, and post-merger integration for a Global 500 Chinese chemical conglomerate; advising performance improvement for a global leading fertilizer company in China; designing the sustainable strategy and organization transformation for a Global 500 Chinese steel company; leading market entry strategy for the Clean Energy and Environmental business unit of a leading Global 500 European utility group; and managing performance improvement, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation strategy for a leading mining company in China.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wang served as a Partner with PwC Strategy&. Before that, he worked at Kearney.
Mr. Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, China, and a master’s degree in finance from London Business School, U.K.
