Nils Gudat

With more than 10 years of experience in translating economic research into actionable advice for clients, Dr. Gudat has worked across public and private sectors on causal inference, forecasting and predictive tasks, sampling, pricing, and policy development.
Dr. Gudat has been instructed as party-appointed expert in a number of proceedings, both in the U.K. and internationally.
Dr. Gudat’s experience includes being instructed as statistical expert in the U.K. High Court, estimating the impact of a manufacturing defect on customer complaints; acting as statistical expert to advise on the efficiency of sampling schemes in litigation and arbitration proceedings; and constructing econometric models of damages for group litigation and competition claims in various jurisdictions.
Dr. Gudat earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate management and economics from Zeppelin University, Germany, a master’s degree in economics from Humboldt University of Berlin, and a PhD in economics from Queen Mary University of London. A German national, he is fluent in German and English.
