Elias Baltassis

Mr. Baltassis has 30 years of experience in quantitative and data-driven topics. He leads data and AI projects across a range of functions and industries, including financial services, private equity, healthcare, consumer and industrial goods, luxury houses, and retail. He works in data strategy, AI-driven growth, bottom-line impact, data regulation, and responsible AI, among other areas. His clients span several European countries, the U.S., and the Middle East.
Mr. Baltassis has published numerous articles on his areas of expertise and is a regular speaker at leading AI events and conferences. He is also a Lecturer at INSEAD on topics related to AI in business.
Prior to joining A&M, he was a Senior Partner and Vice President with Boston Consulting Group. Previously, he was a founding member and Managing Director of Opera Solutions, a leading pure player in data and analytics. Prior to that, he was a Partner with Bain & Company.
Mr. Baltassis earned a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in economics and econometrics from the University of Freiburg and a master’s degree (magna cum laude) in applied mathematics and computer sciences from IAUF/EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne). He also holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Mr. Baltassis is a dual Greek and French citizen, and he is fluent in Greek, English, and French.
