With more than 30 years of tax experience, Mr. Gallagher focuses on global compliance and outsourcing tax and finance functions. His notable assignments include running a large global outsource tax and finance function in the TMT sector across 130 countries. He has also worked with groups across a wide range of industries, helping them to expand into and out of the U.K., supporting them in transactions and reorganisations.

Mr. Gallagher has worked with clients across various sectors, including technology, media, telecoms, sports, consumer and industrial.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gallagher spent 16 years as a partner with EY Tax in Sydney, London and Scotland, where he most recently served as a partner in the Asia Pacific Managed Services practice. He has been focused on driving new services and offerings to the market in the U.K. and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Gallagher earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and finance (first class honours) from Heriot-Watt University in the U.K. He is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Finance Accountant; a government appointed trade ambassador for Scotland; has acted as mentor to several fast growth businesses and as a coach to women in middle management positions in London (through the 30% Club); and has served as a judge with the Scottish Entrepreneur (Edge) Fund. Additionally, Mr. Gallagher is a director of a hospitality company and has completed the University of Edinburgh Non-Executive Director Programme.
