Angela Clancy

With over 15 years of forensic accounting experience, Ms. Clancy has investigated fraudulent conduct, managed large class action disputes, used data analytics to solve complex investigations and disputes and testified in civil and criminal court. She has worked with clients across various industries, including agriculture, government, aged care and manufacturing.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Clancy served as Director at Deloitte and PwC. There, she led the forensic investigations and disputes analytics teams, performing deep dive analytical reviews of client financial and customer data to identify indicators of fraud and corruption. She also led a team that implemented and monitored secured lending calls using an AI analytics platform to identify vulnerable customers during the COVID-19 period.
Ms. Clancy earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (concentration in accounting) from Deakin University and a graduate certificate in criminology from Melbourne University. She is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. Currently, Ms. Clancy is the President of the Australian Institute of Professional Investigators (Victoria). Previously, she served as the Vice President of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (Melbourne Chapter).
