Marco Ramos

Mr. Ramos has worked in Mexico, Latin America, China and the U.S. He has handled transformation programs for global clients, set up green and brownfield operations for manufacturing companies and run productivity and cost efficiency programs. Mr. Ramos has also developed and implemented efficiency- and reliability-focused MOS.
Mr. Ramos has worked with clients in various industries, including consumer goods, food, automotive and industrial and OEM, Tier 1 and 2. His notable engagements include handling the operations assessment and network strategy for a global building products company, assessing the operation across 18 North American sites and delivering $25+ million in roadmap savings over two years; and planning and executing a greenfield semiconductor operation in a free-trade zone close to Shanghai for a major global company in their first manufacturing operation.
Previously, Mr. Ramos managed eight major new model vehicle launches across North America, coordinating the development and introduction of new tooling at both the OEM automotive plant and multiple Tier-1 suppliers, coordinating JIT sequencing for efficient automotive assembly, validating assembly, training personnel and setting up inbound and outbound logistics for final product distribution.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ramos worked in industry for 15 years with Ford Motor Company and Dean Foods and in consulting for 10 years with Accenture.
Mr. Ramos earned a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
