• Virginie Gasnier joins A&M’s EMEA Debt Advisory practice in Paris
   

London, 2 May 2024 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces the expansion of its EMEA Debt Advisory practice with the appointment of Virginie Gasnier as a Managing Director in Paris. The A&M Debt Advisory team has demonstrated strong growth in recent years and now has 11 Managing and Senior Directors across EMEA in A&M’s offices in Dubai, Frankfurt, London, Manchester and Paris.

As a fluent French and Spanish speaker, Ms Gasnier will work closely across A&M’s offices in Paris, Geneva, Madrid and Barcelona. She will spearhead the Debt Advisory team’s continued expansion in these geographies, supporting both financial sponsors and corporates with their debt financing requirements. She brings strong relationships with a number of high-quality financial sponsors and will leverage A&M’s international platform to further expand this network.

Ms. Gasnier joins A&M from Natixis Partners, where she was a Managing Director. During her six years at Natixis, she originated and led the execution of Debt Advisory transactions, with a focus on the mid-market. Prior to this, she worked in the Private Debt team at Blackrock and as a Managing Director in Structured Finance at BNP Paribas for more than 12 years.
