Virginie Gasnier

Ms. Gasnier’s primary focus is the debt financing requirements of private equity backed, privately owned or listed businesses in the European mid-cap segment across a wide range of industries and services. She has worked on over 300 LBO or corporate deals as a direct lender or advisor, including structuring LBO acquisitions through senior, private or high-yield debt instruments, financing build-up platforms and business model roll out plans, arranging dividend recap to provide liquidity to investors and restructuring balance sheets in distressed situations requiring covenant resets, amend and extends or new money injection.
Recently, Ms. Gasnier has raised debt for several companies, including a €840 million cov-lite TLB for a private equity minority-owned international industrial group, a €150 million dividend recap debt for a private equity owned French industrial company, and a €65 million unitranche debt for a group in the radiology sector.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Gasnier spent six years with Natixis Partners in Paris, serving as Managing Director co-managing the Debt Advisory team practice. Prior to that, she worked for Blackrock’s unitranche debt fund.
Previously, Ms. Gasnier spent more than fifteen years with the BNP PARIBAS’ LBO and Acquisition finance team. She began her career with Citibank in London.
Ms. Gasnier earned a master's degree from ICADE University in Spain. She speaks French, Spanish and English
