Keith Fisher

With more than 30 years of senior management experience, Mr. Fisher has been a founder/owner of hardware and software engineering firms. His former company, LShift, was the original developer of RabbitMQ (a world-leading, open source, messaging technology used extensively in financial services and the public sector). The technology was acquired by EMC/VMWare in 2011 and the company was acquired by Oliver Wyman in 2017.
Mr. Fisher’s notable assignments include leading the core engineering capability for a Tier 1’s online banking offering, which transferred into the bank’s SME banking platform in the U.K., and the design and development of Barclays’ UK SME platform (ClearlyBusiness) with ongoing support and development spanning over 10 years.
Most recently, Mr. Fisher was responsible for leading the engineering capability to refactor the core switch of a global payments provider, moving from a legacy technology portfolio toward a cloud-native architecture, and supporting real-time payments in several geographies. He has worked with clients across various industries, including optoelectronics manufacturing, defense and government regulators.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Fisher spent five years with Oliver Wyman in London, where he most recently served as a Partner in its FS and Digital EMEA practice. His team developed a shared KYC utility platform for a group of European banks, completed several challenger bank design/build programs and developed anti-fraud and AML platforms for FIs and insurers. His most recent work involved senior advisory to the Bank of England’s CBDC research group.
Mr. Fisher earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of York. He is a certified DSDM Practitioner (Agile development), a Treasurer of two London-based charities and a member of York University’s Industrial Advisory Board (computer science department). Mr. Fisher has served as a NED on several U.K. software startup boards.
