Marcus Ölander

Mr. Ölander specialises in providing financial buy-side and vendor due diligence and related transaction advisory services to private equity funds and strategic clients on domestic and cross-border transactions. He brings a special focus on the German and Nordic markets.
With more than 17 years of experience, Mr. Ölander has provided financial due diligence and advice on carve-out situations to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, automotive, software, e-commerce and healthcare.
Mr. Ölander’s notable assignments include performing financial buy-side due diligence on Centogene for Lifera; sell-side due diligence (financial fact book) on MLase AG; buy-side due diligence on Assistansbolaget for Stirling Square; buy-side due diligence for Rivian on Green Mobility Holding; advising PE clients like DPE, FSN, Emeram, H.I.G and Nordholding on opportunistic buy-side due diligence investment opportunities; advising DBAG on the acquisition of congatec Holding AG; advising Chequers on the acquisition of Corning Services GmbH; performing vendor due diligence for DBAG selling Proxes GmbH; and supporting strategic clients, including Freudenberg, Vinmar, Fagerhult and Carl Zeiss on various opportunistic and successful acquisitions.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ölander spent 14 years with Deloitte Transaction Services, most recently as a Senior Manager in Frankfurt. He also spent three years in London with Deloitte Private Equity Transaction Services, working on cross-border transactions serving large private equity funds, including KKR, Candover, Blackstone and Hg Capital.
Mr. Ölander earned a BBA and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Stockholm and a master’s degree in applied finance from the University of Melbourne. A Swedish national, he is fluent in Swedish, German and English.
