Piotr Krawczyk
Mr. Krawczyk has over 19 years of experience in advisory and private equity roles. His primary areas of focus are complex operational/carve-out due diligence, merger integration, and post-deal value creation. Mr. Krawczyk has worked with clients across a range of industries, including financial services, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, business services, technology, industrials, and consumer goods.
Most notably at A&M, Mr. Krawczyk carried out buy-side carve-out and operational due diligence, followed by sign-to-close support (including transition service agreement negotiation) and subsequent merger integration launch for a private equity–owned chemicals business on a US target. The 16-week exercise, with the close involvement of company management in France, led to a 5-percentage point EBITDA improvement on the combined perimeter. Before that, he ran another complex carve-out due diligence on a France-based services business.
Previously, Mr. Krawczyk led a large carve-out/post-merger integration of an over-the-counter pharmaceuticals businesses with global operations, working from the pre-deal operational due diligence and separation planning to sign-to-close and transition service agreement negotiation support, and then to the design and implementation of a value creation plan post-closing. He did a deep dive on the target operating model for the combined business to activate synergy potential and drive cost efficiencies.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Krawczyk spent four years working as Operating Partner/Chief Transformation Officer in value creation roles and operational improvement for mid-cap private equity funds, during which time he designed and implemented value creation plans to realize the full potential of acquired assets. He also served as a supervisory board member at four private equity–owned manufacturing businesses. Previously, Mr. Krawczyk spent eight years in strategy consulting with Bain & Company in London and Warsaw, and LEK Consulting in Paris, Chicago, and Munich.
Mr. Krawczyk earned a BBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from HEC Paris. A Polish and German national, he is fluent in English, French, German, and Polish.
