Bhavin Shah

With more than 18 years of combined consulting, interim management and corporate experience, Mr. Shah has led transformation initiatives for healthy as well as underperforming companies across various industries in both private and public sectors.
Mr. Shah recently served as Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) of a $1 billion distribution company where he led strategic initiatives targeted at increasing the company’s EBITDA and valuation in preparation of an exit transaction. Mr. Shah managed all aspects of the IT function including IT operations and SOX compliance, led a complex enterprise-wide ERP initiative, realigned the IT organization, systems and processes, led the company through sell-side pre-acquisition IT due-diligence as well as post-acquisition integration, and transitioned seamlessly to the buyer’s CIO.
Previously, Mr. Shah served as Interim Global IT Infrastructure Director for a Fortune 400 construction company. In this role, he managed a $22M+ budget, 35+ staff, 60+ vendors, partnerships with leaders of 40+ federated IT departments, and services to 10,000+ internal users. He co-developed a multi-year Corporate IT strategy, transformed the IT Infrastructure organization to a “service provider” model, led key initiatives spanning data center operations, email and messaging services, information security, data and voice network, IT service desk, acquisition integration, and database administration, and helped recruit and seamlessly transitioned to a permanent leader.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Shah served as a Product Manager at Tektronix. Previously, he served as a Technical Sales Engineer, and as a Software Engineer at Nortel.
Mr. Shah earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
