Jens Adams

Mr. Adams’ notable projects include developing a transformation plan for a business unit of a Dutch shipping company, including a new target operating model (development of target product market combinations, project pipeline, target project organization and production footprint). He led the headquarters re-organization for a Belgian food retailer and developed a scenario analysis (fix, sell, close), including a detailed wind-down plan.
Mr. Adams served as Interim CFO and developed a performance improvement plan for a German medical device wholesaler. He led the Transformation Office of a German fashion retail company, overseeing the revenue stabilization and G&A cost reductions workstreams and re-organizing the procurement department. Previously, Mr. Adams led the execution of a cash office for a global operating retail company, implementing 13-week-cash flow forecast, cash management and determination of the required financing in Central Europe. He also supported the management during the sales process.
Prior to that, Mr. Adams led the wind down of the Swedish operations of a distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and supported management during the sales of the remaining business. He supported the performance improvement program of a German Media company, validating existing cost saving initiatives, identifying additional ones, and developing a fix, sell or close scenario analysis for a business unit.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Adams was a Senior Vice President with McKinsey & Company, serving clients on comprehensive transformation and restructuring projects. He started his career with UniCredit in Munich, serving most recently as a Vice President in the Equity Capital Markets department.
Mr. Adams earned an MBA (Diplom Kaufmann) from Katholische Universitaet Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. A German national, he is fluent in German and English.
