Jessika van Veen

As a transformative CEO, Ms. van Veen has extensive experience leading complex transformations that deliver sustained top-line growth and cost improvements in private equity backed environments. She uses her corporate CEO background to help clients achieve commercial and operational excellence and manage business transformations and turnarounds, digitalization, M&A, and restructuring. Her expertise in sectors ranging from e-commerce to real estate lets her offer clients a sector-agnostic view.
At A&M, Ms. van Veen has focused on deal advisory and post-acquisition work for PE-owned portfolio companies and corporates. She has held roles as CEO, CFO and CRO. Her notable recent engagements include delivering a holistic digital transformation that ensured sustainable cash and profitable growth after decline; supporting the CEO of a packaging company in preparing for exit after intense buy-and-build; advising the CEO and new owner in building a streamlined organization to expand into new markets in the plasma industry.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. van Veen spent most of her career as CEO and in C-level roles in commercial and operational capacities. As a member of the Staples executive team, she improved sales performance and operational excellence across Europe in line with the value case defined by the new owner. Prior to that, she served as CEO of IWG The Netherlands, managing its turnaround to profitable growth and strong financial organization within a year.
Previously, Ms. van Veen worked with Office Depot as Managing Director Benelux and Senior Director SME Sales Europe, leading the transformation of the Benelux zone and the digitalization of service and sales across Europe, securing long-term EBITDA and cash improvements. She spent a decade in the TMT sector with successes including delivering a P2P program that generated €20 million EBITDA for a small mobile operator and integrating three cable operators into Ziggo. Ms. van Veen started her career with roles in IT, research and the porous plastics industry.
Ms. van Veen earned a master’s degree in policy and organization from Tilburg University and a mini-MBA in Telecom from Nyenrode Business University. She also holds a diploma in advanced leadership from Atlantic University, Florida. A Dutch national, Ms. van Veen is fluent in Dutch, German and English.
