Dubai – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces a further addition in its Middle East team with the appointment of Pietro Castronovo as a Senior Director. The continued growth of Alvarez & Marsal in the Middle East is an indication of the need for first class senior professionals.

Mr. Castronovo will head the Private Equity and Principal Investments practice in the Middle East at A&M. He will be responsible for defining and monitoring the Professional Development program for the Middle East region in A&M. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Castronovo served in various roles at Bain & Company, Accenture and Ernst & Young. He has an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan and is a Chartered Financial Accountant. Mr. Castronovo has more than 12 years’ experience in the financial services sector focusing on strategy, regulatory issues and transformation programs, across different regions, including the Middle East, Italy, Greece, Central Eastern Europe, Russia, U.K. and Ireland.
