From Hong Kong to Beijing: A Young Professional's Journey in Witnessing China's Economic Growth

A&M Tax Managing Director Felix Lee recently interviewed with Economic Daily and shared his thoughts on China's economic growth.
Originally working in M&A tax consulting in Hong Kong SAR, Felix relocated to Beijing in 2010 and noticed significant changes in China's economy. He observed the rapid expansion of the Chinese Mainland's industries and the increasing influx of global capital. With the launch of The Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, Felix's career evolved to cater to Mainland enterprises expanding abroad, presenting new challenges and opportunities in tax consulting. He also witnessed advancements in digitalization and efficiency in administrative systems, which have improved the business environment tremendously. As the firm continues to invest in the Chinese market, Felix remains optimistic about China's long-term economic trajectory.
"I believe we could promote the connection between the mainland and Hong Kong SAR. Hong Kong SAR, being the world's No. 1 settlement center of offshore RMB, will be able to play the role of a bridge connecting the Chinese Mainland and the world."
