About the NED Awards
The importance of Non-Executives on Boards is growing. Increasingly, we are seeing the influence of NEDs resonate across media, politics, company boardrooms and all aspects of corporate governance.
The NED Awards, now in their 12th year, are an opportunity to recognise the achievements of Non-Executive Directors and Chairmen within the Business and Not-For-Profit/Public Sector communities.
Nominations are submitted not only from chief-executives and senior management but from many other sources and most categories are open to all to nominate. Any director in a Non-Executive role operating within the UK, including Non-Executive Chairman and Trustees can be nominated. There are six award categories for general nominations:
- FTSE 100
- FTSE – All Share
- FTSE - AIM
- Private Equity Backed/Private
- Not-for-Profit/Public Service Organisation
- Dame Helen Alexander Award: NED to watch
Deadline for Nominating: Sunday 26th November.
How to nominate: This will only take you a couple of minutes to fill out the initial form online: http://www.nedawards.co.uk/nominate/
*Nominators will be kept anonymous from the nominees (unless you want to tell them)
A&M at the NED Awards
A&M has been involved with the NED Awards from the beginning, as we believe it is important to recognise the achievements of NEDs within the business community. We continue to be a proud sponsor today. In this video, Malcolm McKenzie, a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal, speaks at last years NED Awards on the "A&M Experience."
