Three Highly Experienced Sector Leaders Join A&M’s Healthcare Industry Group
New York – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) continues to expand its Healthcare Industry Group (HIG) capabilities and expertise with the appointments of Jonathan Masoudi, M.D., M.B.A., and Rebecca Palm based in Los Angeles, Denver and Boston, respectively.
The addition of these professionals adds a broad range of expertise and experience to strategically build upon A&M’s offerings across the healthcare industry, specifically across pharmaceutical and biotechnology, providers and healthcare services and life sciences organizations.

Dr. Jonathan Masoudi is a board-certified urologist and healthcare executive, who served Kaiser Permanente of Colorado (KPCO) as an Area Medical Director and Vice President of Operations.
At KPCO, during the largest regional financial turnaround in the company’s history, Dr. Masoudi led specialty care operations throughout the first year of the pandemic, working with the emergency operations center to quickly stop face-to face operations and transition to virtual care and reopening safely. Additionally, Dr. Masoudi led the rapid shift of outpatient surgeries from a hospital to an ambulatory surgical venue, resulting $23 million in cost savings in the first year.
Rebecca Palm brings more than 25 years of experience building and leading financial services and healthcare organizations, with expertise in new product and services development. Ms. Palm joins A&M from Steward Health Care, a large international integrated delivery system where, as the Chief Administrative Officer, she established a highly scalable management service organization that supported 300 percent growth in network size over a six-month period.
Her extensive experience includes building new revenue cycle, electronic medical record and patient engagement product lines for leading organizations. She has also led product strategy, build-vs-buy decisions and strategic acquisitions, including transactions for data analytics, care coordination and population health management companies.
Ms. Palm has worked with healthcare delivery organizations, Accountable Care Organizations, venture-backed startups and leading healthcare technology providers.
