André Medeiros joins to bolster A&M’s Corporate Transformation Services practice in London

London, 3 July 2023 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) continues to expand its European Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) practice with the appointment of André Medeiros as a Managing Director in London. 

Mr. Medeiros will co-lead the firm’s European Consumer and Retail group alongside Erin Brookes, bringing more than 20 years’ experience advising FMCG and retail businesses. At A&M, he will work closely with colleagues across A&M’s business lines to help clients navigate current market conditions to drive growth, enterprise agility, and enhance margin delivery. His appointment comes at a particularly challenging time for the consumer and retail industries, as input cost inflation and rising interest rates lead European players to face many cost and growth pressures.

Prior to joining A&M, he was the EMEA and UK Consumer Markets Consulting Leader at PwC and a Partner in the Strategy& business. During his time there, he advised a range of clients on commercial and cost transformation, revenue growth management, marketing and growth strategy. His clients spanned market leaders in consumer-packaged goods, tobacco, wine and spirits, consumer healthcare and grocery retail.

Before joining PwC, Mr. Medeiros spent several years with Tesco in a range of operational and strategy roles, where he drove major change programmes across Tesco’s store operations and supply chain in the UK, Central and Eastern Europe and East Asia.
