Paris, France – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces four new hires based in its Paris office. The addition of Olivier Chatin as Managing Director, Etienne Leduc as Senior Director; Paul Lefaivre as Director and Pierre-Arthur Chatard as Senior Associate bolsters A&M’s suite of services and ability to create value for companies, investors and stakeholders in France and across Europe.

According to A&M leaders, these hires demonstrate the firm’s commitment to providing strategic transformation development and implementation services as part of its restructuring and performance improvement offerings.

Mr. Chatin brings 20 years of experience managing companies in France and Europe, as well leading complex transformation and restructuring assignments. Prior to joining A&M, he served as COO and Head of software at BearingPoint Group, after having served as CEO of BearingPoint France.  

During his tenure at BearingPoint Group, Mr. Chatin managed the buyout of the European activities following the bankruptcy of the parent company. Additionally, he directed BearingPoint Group’s “carve-out” and participated in the restructuring which led to a significant improvement of the company’s profitability. Prior to that, Mr. Chatin was a Partner at Arthur Andersen and created its Business Consulting group which was sold to BearingPoint Group in 2002.

Mr. Leduc previously served as a Partner at Deloitte. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Executive at Accenture. Mr. Leduc brings more than 20 years of experience in financial transformation and has significant expertise managing pan-European transformation and turnaround programs for consumer, retail and manufacturing companies.

Mr. Lefaivre brings more than 15 years of operational, financial and restructuring experience to A&M. Previously, he served as President-Founder of Vertical SAS, a restructuring and transformation consulting firm.  Prior to that, he was a Senior Consultant at Lee Bouygues Partners, where he led transformation programs. Earlier he served as an investment banker at JP Morgan and DVB Bank.

Mr. Chatard has deep expertise in the health and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining A&M, he served as Senior Consultant at Roland Berger. Mr. Chatard began his career at Ernst & Young before joining Total E&P in Qatar.
