New Managing Director Jenny Arrand to lead firm’s CMAA capabilities in the market, enhancing its globally integrated, end-to-end advisory offering

Sydney, 1 April, 2026 – Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a leading global professional services firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenny Arrand as a Managing Director within its Global Transaction Advisory Group (Global TAG). Based in Sydney, Ms. Arrand will expand Global TAG’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory (CMAA) capabilities across complex transaction structuring, accounting due diligence, major infrastructure projects and IFRS accounting and reporting for corporates, government, infrastructure and private equity funds. Ms. Arrand’s appointment reflects Global TAG’s continued investment in its global CMAA offering, which the firm has recently expanded across Europe and Latin America to meet increasing demand for independent, technically robust accounting and capital markets advice.

Ms. Arrand brings decades of experience in transaction structuring, helping clients achieve optimal accounting and fiscal outcomes whilst providing practical solutions for commercial, regulatory, and operational requirements. Most recently with KPMG, where she had a 21-year tenure, Ms Arrand’s experience in buy- and sell-side transactions sits across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, energy, renewables, water, real estate, government, public–private partnerships, private equity, and healthcare. 

Ms. Arrand will work closely with A&M’s Global TAG, Tax, Valuation, and Performance Improvement teams to deliver end-to-end support across transaction execution, complex IFRS accounting and financial reporting, finance function modernization and audit readiness.
