At A&M, we recognize the importance of growing and developing Hispanic and Latin American talent by fostering cultural inclusivity through avenues that ultimately uplift our people and their voices.
The A&M Hispanic and Latin American (HLA) ERG is a group of A&M professionals joined together to cultivate and enrich a community of shared cultural experiences, thereby creating business, professional, and personal development opportunities.
Our Mission:
To grow and develop Hispanic and Latin American talent and foster cultural inclusivity for Hispanic and Latin American A&M professionals.
Core Initiatives:
- Business development – Increase the number of business opportunities across North and South America through our various practices, industries, and functions.
- Developing US & LATAM cross-border model to provide a holistic value proposition to our clients by leveraging client/industry expertise and leadership, as well as local market resources and knowledge
- Mapping staffing model and resource experience/background tools across each BU (across Big A&M) to help identify and engage resources and opportunities more effectively
- Recruitment - Develop and manage a focused recruiting program to grow Hispanic and Latin American talent.
- Engage with Hispanic organizations in universities to develop a pipeline of Hispanic talent out of college.
- Establish connections between our professionals and future consultants through professional Hispanic organizations.
- Professional community - Create internal and alums communities of Hispanic and Latin American professionals and provide development and mentorship opportunities for them across A&M.
- Enhance connection between our community through events, happy hours, and webinars;
- Develop our professionals and provide help them along their career with our Mentoring program;
