In a recent article by Plastics News, A&M Energy experts Vikram Gore and Ashish Chitalia discuss these effects on the M&A industry. Chitalia stated, "There's pricing pressure on the entire value chain," and he highlighted the correlation to slowing GDP growth across high resin demand regions, "There's global overcapacity in resin and a lot of competition in finished goods."
