Introduction
On May 13, 2015, Premier Petroleum Corp. (“Premier” or the “Company”) filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to s.49 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (“BIA”) and Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc. (A&M) was appointed as the Trustee in Bankruptcy (the “Trustee”) of Premier by the Official Receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of Premier. Premier is now considered a bankrupt company.
