Zach Hamilton is a Senior Director with Alvarez and Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Atlanta. With more than 16 years of transaction-related experience, he specializes in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for both private equity firms and strategic clients, and advises clients on quality of earnings, net working capital, and GAAP. He also has experience leading complex acquisitions involving carve-outs of public and private companies. In addition, Mr. Hamilton has advised clients on merger integration and divestiture planning and execution, including pre-deal due diligence, TSA development, and synergy identification.

Mr. Hamilton’s primary area of concentration is healthcare. He has served a wide array of healthcare clients, including managed care, concierge medicine, value-based care, diagnostic imaging, durable medical equipment, physician practices, acute and sub-acute care hospitals, home health, hospice, oncology, long-term care, nurse staffing, skilled nursing facilities, healthcare IT, and specialty and institutional pharmacies, among other healthcare subsectors.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hamilton spent over seven years in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services business, where he most recently served as the Head of the Healthcare Financial Due Diligence practice. He also worked in PwC’s M&A Advisory practice, as well as in the Transaction Advisory practice of EY.

Mr. Hamilton earned a BBA in accounting and a MAcc from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and New York and is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
