William Fugazy

With over 14 years of consulting experience, Mr. Fugazy has advised many insurance company and insurance broker clients on a wide range of issues, including insolvency and restructuring, raising capital, and developing new or overhauling existing financial planning and analysis tools.
Mr. Fugazy’s notable insurance industry engagement experience includes creating the financial model and projections used by a large personal lines insurance carrier to successfully raise $100 million of additional capital and avoid a rating downgrade; helping a Florida-based non-standard auto managing general agent understand its liquidity needs caused by unusual claims litigation and raise an additional $40 million of capital; and managing a team of financial experts through a discovery process, the development of various analyses, and the drafting of various reports in support of a $1+ billion insurance class action litigation. Mr. Fugazy also has significant experience in the manufacturing industry, having helped private equity-owned clients with end-to-end product profitability analyses and operational assessments to find opportunities to improve EBITDA.
Mr. Fugazy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
