Vina Chandrashaker
Ms. Chandrashaker collaborates with diverse licensing workstreams—including operations, legal, compliance, and technology—to align stakeholder expectations, resolve jurisdictional issues, and drive consistent, efficient outcomes for complex license footprints. She oversees US-based and offshore teams and has significant experience managing high-volume compliance environments. She notably coordinated outreach with more than 2,000 jurisdictions to maintain uninterrupted operations for a national apparel and home retailer and ensure an accurate license calendar upon emergence from bankruptcy.
Ms. Chandrashaker manages onboarding of recurring renewal compliance for large clients, overseeing thousands of licenses daily and implementing process improvements that enhance quality, reduce risk, and drive practice-wide efficiency. She brings strong technical insight into systems and tools required to support license advisory services, helping clients optimize workflows and leverage technology to achieve sustainable license compliance.
Additionally, Ms. Chandrashaker has subject-matter expertise in business personal property tax compliance, including preparing and filing renditions, appealing assessments, responding to notices, and coordinating tax payments.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Chandrashaker gained broad-based tax experience while leading large-scale indirect tax projects, including individual state and local income tax compliance and federal compliance for C-corporations. She also served as the operational lead for several indirect tax practices.
Ms. Chandrashaker earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting (concentrations in marketing and statistics) from Bangalore University, India. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute’s San Francisco chapter.
