Varun Rajani

Mr. Rajani leads high-tech private equity performance improvement (PEPI), across areas including AI, software-as-a-service (SaaS), data, and security, in Southeast Asia and Australia. His main areas of expertise include value creation with AI and digital, enterprise growth and operating models, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
Mr. Rajani has led 50+ complex transformation programs across Southeast Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S., spanning a range of industries including technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), consumer retail, manufacturing, and financial services.
Mr. Rajani’s key engagements include scaling a $600 million digital subsidiary for a telecom operator, driving $200+ million in EBITDA impact with AI and analytics in tech service delivery, leading a $1+ billion telecoms spectrum and network investment strategy for 5G, designing a next-gen operating model for a 2,500+ full-time equivalent tech service delivery organization, and launching an e-commerce business model for a $1.2 billion consumer brand in key Southeast Asian markets.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rajani spent approximately four years at ServiceNow, where he led value creation and strategic pursuits for the TMT and financial services verticals across Asia. Before that, he was a Senior Principal at Kearney, where he led the growth of the firm’s Telecommunications and Digital Transformation practices in Southeast Asia. He also previously served as acting Chief Operations Officer for a high-growth SaaS customer relationship management company in India.
Mr. Rajani earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from SVNIT, Surat, where he was class valedictorian, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is an active speaker on AI, digital transformations, and the future of work.
