Timothy Raab is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Washington, D.C. He heads the North America Mass Torts practice. Mr. Raab specializes in mass torts matters, including product liability, mass toxic and mass disaster, and multidistrict litigation.
With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Raab has been involved in many of the most high-profile mass tort matters, including asbestos, breast implant litigation, sexual misconduct claims and wildfire litigation. He has designed, managed and overseen several mass tort settlement trusts, resulting in the distribution of billions of dollars in indemnity payments to claimants and beneficiaries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Raab served as Senior Managing Director and leader of the Mass Torts practice at Ankura Consulting Group. Before that, he served as Senior Managing Director at ARPC, a boutique economic consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Previously, he was a Finance Manager and Accountant at BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle) and Computer Sciences Corporation.
Mr. Raab earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola College, an MBA (finance concentration) from Marymount University and a master’s degree in taxation from American University.
