Teresa McMahon is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Chicago. With more than 30 years of experience, she has led performance improvement initiatives, large-scale merger integration initiatives and ERP system selections. 

Ms. McMahon has deep experience in the functional areas of corporate finance and accounting, treasury, planning and analysis, operations management, IT and human capital. She has also served in interim management roles. 

Ms. McMahon has worked with clients in various industries, including software, equipment leasing, auto finance, telecommunications, litigation discovery, professional services and manufacturing. 

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. McMahon was a Managing Director with Navigant Consulting and FTI Consulting. She was the Co-founder of ReeseMcMahon, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in operational performance improvement, bankruptcy and restructuring, transactional due diligence and system selection services. 

Previously, Ms. McMahon was a CFO for Storage Technology DSD, Prime Capital Corporation, and Financial Investment Associates. 

Ms. McMahon earned a bachelor's degree in accounting (high honors) from the University of Illinois. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor. Ms. McMahon is current vice chair of the board of directors of Blessings in a Backpack and has chaired  the finance committee, and the fund development committee. She has been a board member and finance committee member for the YWCA of Greater Metropolitan Chicago and the Girls Scouts of Chicago. Ms. McMahon is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
