Suzanne Heck is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Health Industry Group in Atlanta. Ms. Heck’s notable experience includes renegotiating multiple hospital provider service agreements resulting in five percent subsidy revenue growth, leading a revenue cycle management project that collected $96 million in additional reimbursement for Medicaid parity, and initiating organization-wide labor management program for acute and non-acute facilities that brought $10 million in labor reductions by establishing comparative benchmarks and a daily management tool.

Previously, Ms. Heck lobbied state and federal government programs to restructure fund distributions for Indigent Care Trust Fund and Upper Payment Limit (UPL) funds that resulted in a 50 percent increase in UPL revenue.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Heck spent 11 years with Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. as CFO, and then Region President role for Women’s & Children’s and Anesthesia, encompassing 65 practices across 11 states. Prior to that, she spent 15 years as CFO within a hospital setting, working for large health systems and teaching hospitals. 

Ms. Heck earned a BBA in finance and accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is a licensed Certified Public Account (CPA) in the state of Georgia.
