Steven Kingham is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Manchester. He specializes in providing financial due diligence services and has extensive experience of advising corporate and private equity clients on acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, carve-outs, and cross-border transactions.

With around 20 years of experience in delivering successful transactions, Mr. Kingham has deep expertise in the TMT and consumer sectors, in particular, having advised on many software and e-commerce transactions.

Mr. Kingham’s notable assignments include supporting an e-commerce business on circa 15 bolt-on acquisitions, several refinancings, and then its £5 billion IPO; supporting a web-hosting business on around 15 bolt-on acquisitions and several private equity investments; and aiding a fleet mobility and connectivity solutions provider with eight bolt-on acquisitions and two private equity investments.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kingham spent 11 years with EY in Manchester—for the last four years as a Partner, leading its Transaction Services team. He led the due diligence process for numerous high-profile deals in North West England. With his leadership, his team won Insider Media’s Transaction Services Team of the Year for three consecutive years.

Mr. Kingham is a school leaver who pursued a vocational route into accountancy, initially via the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
