Steven Boyd

He has deep knowledge and experience in several sectors of healthcare including laboratory, diagnostics, medical devices, senior living and outpatient physical therapy.
Mr. Boyd recently advised a leading care management and healthcare analytics company on the development and implementation of a $20 million turnaround plan focused on rightsizing the company’s cost and operating structure, while repositioning it for profitable growth.
Other notable assignments include serving as restructuring advisor to Physiotherapy Associates, a national provider of outpatient physical therapy services during the implementation of an operational improvement plan and its $350 million pre-packaged Chapter 11 restructuring.
He was Interim CFO of an $85 million investor-owned diagnostic manufacturer, reducing annual operating losses by $13 million, improving financial forecasting and treasury processes, and working cross functionally to improve production planning, inventory, management and make significant reductions in working capital.
Mr. Boyd also served as restructuring advisor to Erickson Retirement Communities, a senior housing leader serving 23,000 residents during its $2.5 billion Chapter 11 restructuring.
Before joining A&M, he was an AVP with the Global Industrial Group of Fortis Bank, a high-yield research associate with Bear Stearns, and an associate with Eureka Capital Markets, advising public and private middle-market companies on valuations, mergers, acquisitions and private placements of both debt and equity.
Mr. Boyd earned a bachelor's degree, cum laude, with a double major in finance and international business from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business. He also completed studies at the London School of Economics and was a licensed NASD General Securities Registered Representative (Series 7 and 63).
