With experience in all stages of the M&A process, Mr. Anthony specializes in software, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT). He also has substantial experience working in EdTech and professional services firms. Mr. Anthony’s representative professional engagements include serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO), VP Business Process Effectiveness and Research Services for Charles River Associates, a global economic, financial, and management firm. He led a multiyear program that developed software and services for commodities trading transformation that included product development and implementation.
For Blackboard, a leading global education company, Mr. Anthony served as CIO and Head of Business Optimization and led the analysis and delivery of a multiyear project that led to EBITDA improvements of $42 million. For Google data privacy and security products, he led the product roadmap planning, design and development process, including introducing an OKR/value stream driven product roadmap process and proof points that will be used in all of Google external facing product lines.
Previously, for a leader in the GRC market, Mr. Anthony led the development of the product technology strategy platform, including product, people, and process perspectives and associated integration support to drive synergy and integration of the product portfolio and optimized R&D organization. He also led an employee engagement company’s transformation program from a pure play fulfillment to a product technology company, doubling assessed market value.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Anthony worked with KPMG, where he led the Product Technology practice; previously he worked with AlixPartners. He has also held other leadership positions in both industry and consulting capacities.
Mr. Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and advanced management and leadership certifications from INSEAD and Stanford University.
