Steve Wallace is a Managing Director and Alvarez & Marsal’s Chief Operating Officer in New York.

As COO, Mr. Wallace’s responsibilities include oversight of certain A&M global business units and A&M’s shared services functions.

Mr. Wallace also holds a leadership position in A&M’s Restructuring and Turnaround practice in the U.S. and Canada, where he shares general practice management and risk management responsibility.

Mr. Wallace was previously Chief Administrative Officer for A&M's corporate organization. He was responsible for global oversight of A&M's legal, human resources, corporate real estate, information technology and insurance departments.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wallace spent 10 years in private nonprofit education, serving in administrative positions and heading both residential and academic life at boarding schools in New England.

Mr. Wallace earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and history from Williams College and completed post-graduate classes at Dartmouth College.
