Stephen McGaw

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. McGaw spent 35 years with AT&T, with responsibilities that ranged from leading corporate strategy and development to serving as Chief Marketing Officer of AT&T’s $70 billion business product portfolio to leading the company’s wireless supply chain and fleet operations.
Most recently, Mr. McGaw led AT&T’s strategy and corporate development and was responsible for global corporate strategy, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. He and his team completed 70+ transactions in media, ad-tech, software, cyber-security, and wireless spectrum, representing more than $135 billion in value, including the spin-offs of DirecTV and WarnerMedia. Mr. McGaw also worked on the formation of Cingular Wireless and its subsequent $41 billion acquisition of AT&T Wireless and the launch of the first iPhone, for which he led the supply chain negotiations with Apple and the subsequent launch.
Mr. McGaw earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, a master’s degree in computer science from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the board of directors of DirecTV Entertainment Holdings, LLC and previously served on the advisory committees to the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, Purdue University, and the World Economic Forum Steering Committee in support of the Delivering the Digital Infrastructure initiative. Additionally, He was Board Chair for the My Possibilities Foundation, a nonprofit serving Dallas-area families.
