Sohil Mohamed
With more than 20 years of cybersecurity and information risk experience, Mr. Mohamed has extensive experience delivering cyber risk advisory services for complex mega- and giga-projects. His work spans the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity programs and strategies tailored to diverse business models and industry sectors.
Mr. Mohamed brings extensive expertise in designing and implementing advanced cybersecurity architecture for large-scale, complex environments. His experience includes leading the development of target enterprise security architecture and creating comprehensive cybersecurity architecture blueprints, encompassing detailed use cases, reference architectures, logical designs, and standardized design patterns.
Mr. Mohamed has also spearheaded the design of a sophisticated cyber defense center (a security operations center of security operations centers), defining its operating model, service catalog, and governance structure. Additionally, he has developed robust data protection strategies and frameworks to ensure compliance and resilience against evolving threats. Mr. Mohamed's portfolio spans engagements across diverse sectors, including finance, government entities, military and defense, smart cities, and major telecommunications operators.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mohamed spent two-and-a-half years with NEOM, an arcology and planned city project in Saudi Arabia, in the Cybersecurity unit, serving most recently as Enterprise Security Architecture Practice Leader. He led critical cybersecurity projects, including NEOM-wide enterprise security architecture, the cyber defense center, cybersecurity architecture blueprints, and the data protection program.
Mr. Mohamed earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical machines and power engineering from Helwan University, Cairo. He has GIAC Security Essentials Certification and an IBM Blockchain Fundamentals certificate, and is a Certified Metaverse Security Consultant. Mr. Mohamed is fluent in Arabic and English.
