Shobit Arora
Mr. Arora’s expertise includes finance operating model redesign, shared services and global business services strategy, enterprise resource planning value realization, and end-to-end finance process optimization. He helps organizations understand why large transformation investments often fall short of their original business cases and how to recover that value post-implementation. He has served Fortune 500 clients with revenues ranging from $5 billion to $300 billion across energy, chemicals, utilities, industrials, life sciences, and consumer goods.
Mr. Arora’s notable engagements include serving as Lead Advisor to a $300 billion North American life sciences distribution company, where he developed the SAP S/4 business case for the oncology and specialty division. He achieved approximately $30 million in recurring savings and more than $100 million in working capital benefits. He also led the finance organization redesign for a $10 billion North American beverages company, reducing finance costs by approximately 30%. Mr. Arora also helped a large global enterprise with AI strategy for finance and operations, identifying where AI could drive material efficiency gains and building the governance to scale it.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Arora spent 13 years at Accenture Strategy, where, most recently, he was a Managing Director responsible for the CFO & Enterprise Value portfolio across North America’s Resources sector.
Mr. Arora earned a BBA and a master’s degree in professional accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned an MBA in strategy and finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
