Ms. Tenner brings 20 years of operating experience assisting companies across multiple industries in operating model design, cost optimization, and change management. She draws on her experience in industry when leading large corporate transformations. Ms. Tenner’s solutions and recommendations are rooted in a deep understanding of corporate culture.
Ms. Tenner’s notable assignments include supporting a $5 billion engineering, production, and construction business in the renewable energy sector in redefining its sales function, operating model, and go-to-market processes. She built cross-function collaboration and a training program to drive data-based account management and new business development. Ms. Tenner also has experience leading the operating model redesign of a staffing company for the hospitality sector. Bending the cost curve for the company, which was necessary for a successful exit, required Ms. Tenner to rethink how the company should operate in the future given its investment in digital transformation. All functions—sales, HR, IT, finance, innovation, and R&D—were evaluated for standardization, centralization, and outsourcing opportunities.
Ms. Tenner’s other notable engagements include: leading an operating model redesign and creating a new product launch process for a fast-growing $300 million kitchen appliance company; assisting a $2 billion transportation company with approximately 500 locations to identify SG&A savings via process standardization and centralization; leading the integration and functional optimization of a $3 billion private equity-sponsored printing company; assisting in identifying $20 million of costs savings at a multimillion-dollar power tools manufacturer; assisting a multibillion-dollar food ingredient company with a post-acquisition merger; supporting a contractor in the energy sector and a pipe manufacturer to gain visibility in business performance; and helping to raise growth capital as Chief Financial Officer of a $50 million premium chocolate company.
Ms. Tenner earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business.
