Shane Wilson

Mr. Wilson has over 11 years of experience in providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services for private equity firms and strategic buyers. His primary expertise is preparing analyses that identify key deal issues and risk areas, including quantifying items that directly impact transaction valuation (e.g., quality of earnings, working capital requirements, debt, and debt-like items).
Mr. Wilson’s work has primarily focused on the software and technology industry, advising clients on deals ranging in size from small- to large-cap transactions, including cross-border transactions, primarily across the U.S. and Europe. He aids clients in assessing customer retention, gross margin by revenue stream, recurring vs. non-recurring revenue, appropriateness of revenue recognition, contract analyses, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wilson worked in PwC’s Transaction Services group in Los Angeles. Mr. Wilson also spent three years in PwC’s Assurance practice, where he served both public and private clients in the financial services industry, primarily focusing on insurance and asset management clients.
Mr. Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
