Sergio Meneses is a Managing Director of Northern Latin America with Alvarez & Marsal. With 20+ years of financial and consulting services experience, he focuses on designing and executing large business transformations, performance improvement programs, and growth strategies.
Mr. Meneses has significant experience in various industries including consumer and industrial goods, retail, food and beverages and pharmaceutical. He has worked in Mexico, the U.S., Andean Region, Central America, Southern Cone and the Middle East.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Meneses spent 12 years at PwC Strategy (formerly Booz & Co.) leading the Consumer and Industrial practice for North Latin America; five years at Oliver Wyman conducting large transportation and infrastructure projects; and three years at Salomon Brothers within the Latin-American Corporate Finance Group executing M&A, equity and debt transactions.
Mr. Meneses earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and an MBA from IESE Business School. He has lectured on corporate strategy and strategic planning in Mexican universities.
